Professional cheaters in Dubai

 Beware of professional cheaters of professionals

Recently, i tried my luck with content writing. Searched the web and zeroed in on one company based in Dubai called IWrite. I sent a mail and got a reply immediately from its Founder Director! He was online preying for his next candidate, which happened to be me. He comes online in Zoom and everything happens within minutes. I was appreciated for the CV i shared and enquired me whether it was done by myself or from any other professional, thus giving a positive stroke, to capture me in his net. 

A series of Zoom meeting followed with sharing of his discussions with previous candidates who applied to him. It all looked very professional. He spoke about his company and its vast clientele network spanning many countries. Within no time, he gave me an assignment as a 'test' to write a review on a financial paper, which was not my cup of tea. Yet, he 'motivated' me to do that and i have to spend 50 hours of studying and writing and rewriting to pass his 'test' and become a writer in his company. I have given my prime time for this for about 2 weeks. 

All was good so far. No payments, as it was considered as training. Then he indicated of a Project which was of my background; that is to write the lessons for MA Social Work students in one subject. He shared one chapter which was being done by another writer and sought my feedback. I could see that the person who was writing does not have any Social Work background and she was struggling to get the right matter. I shared this to him and he agreed to give that work to me. Thus, i started working on that new assignment as a writer and not as a trainee. 

I was asked to send him the progress every day showing how many hours i worked and what was the work. I followed this promptly and he was acknowledging my work every night, usually around 11pm when i finish the day's work. It went on for about 2 weeks and i have already put in more than 50 hours of quality work in it, putting my sincere efforts as it was a subject of my interest and liking. As a student of MSW, i was the gold medalist and later i was working as a Guest Faculty in a College in the MSW department too. Hence, i was sure that i am producing the best stuff possible for the client of my 'boss'. 

Unfortunately, i had to take leave for 2 days for my personal emergencies and it was reported to him. Though he was not happy, he allowed. But, the shock was waiting for me when i came back after the break.  When contacted, he said my work is absolutely non-sense! I was shocked by his new version and discovery. He said i was irresponsible and the client has been already given a file worked by another writer. He said i didn't keep the timeline, which was never shared with me.  Now, he has a number of reasons not to pay me for the work i have done with commitment! 

He lives in the comfort of Dubai and says he is a professional. But, i doubt his credentials and i am sure he has already cheated many people, professionals like me. He has recently changed his company's name to IDOC from IWrite. Beware of him and his companies. I am deeply wounded by the actions of the person for his irresponsible and purposeful ways of cheating professionals looking for a genuine income for their services.
